Dataset for "Rapidly expanding lake heatwaves under climate change", and example code for calculating spatiotemporally connected lake heatwaves (fig2_zenodo.m). Each data file contains a binary 3d array (longitude vs latitude vs time) of heatwave occurrence (0 = no heatwave and 1 == heatwave), as well as the temperature anomaly at each time step. The files are separated per lake and per year
